The original 1920s houses around the golf course have steel casement and wood double-hung windows with deep sills. Inside mount looks right on those and shows off the trim, but the openings are rarely square and the sills eat depth, so the measure has to be exact or the shade fouls on the crank. This is precisely where made-to-order stops being a luxury.
The ranch belt is the opposite: long horizontal windows, low ceilings, and rooms that go dim fast if you over-cover them. Light filtering roller or a wide zebra suits those far better than heavy drapery. And for anything you rent out near USF, we will steer you to the cheapest thing that survives tenants rather than the nicest thing in the sample book.
